• I patently refuse to grow up.  A wise man once told me that growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional.     
• The martial arts has had such a positive impact on my life, I find myself still being surprised by the reach of that impact at times.  This training is a path of overcoming obstacles, and in my years of practice I have overcome many – mental and physical - and grown many ways.  I see that impact on the mat, in my personal life, and at work.  Now I am fortunate enough to be an instructor, and have the honor and duty of sharing this body of knowledge with others.  With dedication, together we will make sure to face new challenges and open new doors, and that this continues to be an experience of growth for everyone.
